The OBO BETTERMANN MDP-4 D-24-EX is a 4-pole surge arrestor Type 1+2+3 with a 0.25kA rating in an 8/20us environment and 20VAC. It is designed for integration into DIN-mounted systems. It is a pluggable Type 2 overvoltage protection solution that offers maximum protection for data lines and is suitable for use in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings. The surge arrestor is capable of withstanding very high overvoltages and offering transient overvoltage protection up to 8/20us. It includes fast-disconnect, quick-lok terminals for easy installation, and there is no need for soldering. Additionally, the device is designed for long-term reliability and durability.
