The Ohmite ACS-5S-6K8-J is a non-inductive, flameproof, thick-film precision resistor. It is constructed with a 5 Watt power rating and a 6K8 (6800 Ohm) resistance value tolerance of +/- 1%. The ACS-5S-6K8-J is designed to operate at a temperature range of -55° to +175° Celsius and is sealed with an epoxy coating and conformal polymer film to protect it against flame, dust and other contaminants. The ACS-5S-6K8-J is widely used in audio applications, industrial instrumentation and other areas where accurate, reliable resistance is required.
