products The HS50 15R J is a high-power wirewound resistors from Ohmite. The HS50 series combines robust design with advanced thermal management. It is designed to provide maximum heat dissipation on any type of surface. The resistor is able to handle up to 50 watts of continuous power and can be installed on boards and surfaces with a range of surface temperatures. This part of the HS50 series comes with 15 ohms of resistance in the body. It has the standard round ceramic body, which is slugged for easy identification. The HS50 15R J also features Ohmite's patented "J-Lead Design" – a twist in the conventional terminations that reduces joint vibration and enhances electrical performance.
