The ZEN-CIF01 module is a communication module from Omron PLC that enables the connection of the PLC to a wide variety of communication networks, such as Ethernet and Industrial Ethernet, through the use of protocol nodes. This module allows the PLC to be linked with other PLCs and control devices to allow for distributed control systems and automation, as well as other types of communication networks, like Industry 4.0. The ZEN-CIF01 offers IPv4 and IPv6, Modbus TCP, FTP clients and servers, webservers, SNMP and others, making sure that it can connect to all necessary protocol networks in order to fulfill its task.
