The 74VCX245BQX from ON Semiconductor is an 8-bit bidirectional bus transceiver with data capture control. It is designed for asynchronous communication between two data buses. The device features eight non-inverting bidirectional buffers and a bus control latch. It allows data to be shifted in either direction and makes it possible to control a peripheral device using a microprocessor. The 74VCX245BQX is capable of driving up to 15 LSTTL loads and operates at 2.3V to 3.6V over the temperature range of 0°C to 85°C.
