The CAT811STBI-GT3 with Supervisory Circuits Act. Low/PB 4-pin is a high-performance CMOS low-dropout voltage regulator (LDO) manufactured by ON Semiconductor. Specifically designed to monitor the power supply voltage for microcontroller- and DSP-based systems, the CAT811STBI-GT3 adds features such as a wide input voltage range of 2.0V to 5.5V, low quiescent current of 1.5 µA (enabled) and 15 µA (disabled), active low power good reset output with an adjustable delay, un-forced reset time of typical 50 ms, and a high-pull-up current of up to 10 mA. The 4-pin package also includes an Input Select pin to control the reset function for AC/DC grounded adapters. This helps ensure the system remains stable even when the adapter is switched off or replaced. Additionally, the CAT811STBI-GT3 comes with thermal protection circuitry that provides an automated shutdown if the device's temperature exceeds a preset level.
