The HCPL0600R2 is a high-speed optocoupler made by ON Semiconductor. It is a single-channel logic gate optocoupler with a 10 MBit/s bandwidth. The device consists of a AlGaAs light-emitting diode optically coupled to a high-gain photodetector, and is designed for high-speed data transmission. The device is housed in an 8-Pin DIP Package that is suitable for through-hole or surface-mount applications. With its high-speed transmission capability, the HCPL0600R2 is ideal for applications such as isolation of RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and other high-speed data transmissions, as well as motor-control, industrial automation, medical equipment, and instrumentation applications.
