The MC14017BDR2G Counter IC is a part manufactured by ON Semiconductor, a leader in making semiconductors and other electronic components. This part is a 3-18V, decade divider. It uses two inputs–A and B–to divide the input frequency by a factor of 10, i.e., A being the clock input and B being the reset. When either A or B is at logic high, the output will enable.
