The MC7805CD2TR4G is a linear voltage regulator IC manufactured by ON Semiconductor. It is a 5V, 1A positive regulation voltage regulator that is designed to deliver a constant 5V of output voltage, while taking an input voltage of up to 30V. It features adequate protection against transients and it is in a 3-pin transistor package and is suitable for applications such as providing a clean, stable and reliable source of dc for LED lighting, embedded systems and integrated circuits. It is available in a black tray packing with lead finish comprising of tin (Sn) and lead (Pb) and it complies with ROHS 2002/95/EC and is halogen-free.
