The MC7912ACTG is a Linear Voltage Regulator IC Negative Fixed 1 Output 1A TO-220 made by ON Semiconductor. It is designed for negative-voltage-only applications and provides up to 1A of output current. It has a wide input voltage range from -40V to -18V and an output voltage range of -12V. It also offers excellent line and load regulation. The device features internal current limiting, reverse polarity protection, and thermal overload protection. It also has a No External Component Required feature. It is designed to be used in power distribution, automotive and consumer electronics, and industrial control systems.
