The MC79L12ACPRAG is a voltage regulator from ON Semiconductor. It is a fixed 12V 100mA CMOS linear regulator. The output voltage is internally set at +12V. It has a high current capability of 100mA and features a low dropout voltage of 0.7V (max). The device is offered in an 8-lead PDIP package and is used in many low power applications. It features excellent line and load regulation and low power consumption. The device is ideal for use in applications such as battery-powered systems, Bias supplies, and level shifting.
