The MMSD4448 with Diodes - General Purpose, Power, Switching Hi Conductance Fast manufactured by ON Semiconductor is a dual diode with a Silicon epitaxial planar type construction. It can be pair-connected with two diodes for reverse-blocking application. This dual diode comes with a glass passivated junction and a built–in strain relief. It also has interna thermal overload protection, low reverse leakage, and available in a through–hole package. This part can be used in various applications which include voltage clamping,DC/DC converters, polarity protection, OR-ing, free-wheeling etc.
