Additional Infomation About Product

The MOC8021M with Transistor Output Optocouplers Photodarlington manufactured by ON Semiconductor is a high-speed optocoupler that utilizes an internal push-pull driver output stage to provide a high degree of electrical isolation between input and output circuits. It offers 5000 Vrms isolation between input and output. The high speed performance of the MOC8021M enables data rates up to 10Mb/s. The device features an LED and a PIN photodiode integrated into one package. The LED is internally driven by a combination of bias current and an auxiliary DC input voltage. The photodiode is coupled to a Photodarlington-transistor output that is able to drive either NPN or PNP loads. The MOC8021M is suitable for driving high speed logic lines in applications such as industrial instrumentation, medical imaging, and automotive electronics.
