Housed in a PDIP7 or SOT223 8 AP SUFFIX YYWWG package, the NCP101X offers everything needed to build a rugged and 1 lowcost power supply, including softstart, frequency jittering, 1 shortcircuit protection, skipcycle, a maximum peak current setpoint x = Current Limit (0, 1, 2, 3, 4) and a Dynamic SelfSupply (no need for an auxiliary winding). y = Oscillator Frequency Unlike other monolithic solutions, the NCP101X is quiet by nature: A (65 kHz), B (100 kHz), C (130 kHz) yy = 06 (65 kHz), 10 (100 kHz), 13 (130 kHz) during nominal load operation, the part switches at one of the available A = Assembly Location frequencies (65 100 130 kHz). When the current setpoint falls WL = Wafer Lot below a given value, e.g. the output power demand diminishes, the IC YY, Y = Year WW, W = Work Week automatically enters the socalled skipcycle mode and provides or G = PbFree Package excellent efficiency at light loads.
