The NCV7808BTG is a low-dropout linear voltage regulator designed and manufactured by ON Semiconductor. This device features an adjustable output voltage and provides up to 1 amp of output current. The NCV7808BTG is designed for use with input voltages of between 6.5V and 20V and delivers a regulated output voltage of between 2.3V and 20V. This device also includes an enable pin that can be used to power down the device during standby mode, as well as thermal protection and a reverse-current protection circuit to protect the device from damage due to reverse polarity or overloading.
