DATA SHEET www.onsemi.com 2 EEPROM, Serial, 16-Kb I C, Low Voltage Automotive Grade 1 US8 TSSOP8 U SUFFIX DT SUFFIX CASE 493 CASE 948AL NV24C16LV Description The NV24C16LV are 16 Kb CMOS Serial EEPROM devices that operate at a minimum 1.7 V supply voltage. They are organized TSOP5 internally as 128 pages of 16 bytes each. All devices support the SN SUFFIX 2 Standard (100 kHz), Fast (400 kHz) and FastPlus (1 MHz) I C CASE 483 protocol. Data is written by providing a starting address, then loading 1 to 16 contiguous bytes into a Page Write Buffer, and then writing all data to UDFN8 SOIC8 nonvolatile memory in one internal write cycle. Data is read by MUW3 SUFFIX DW SUFFIX providing a starting address and then shifting out data serially while CASE 517DH CASE 751BD automatically incrementing the internal address count. External address pins make it possible to address up to one NV24C16 device on the same bus.
