RS1J is a part of the System-in-Package (SiP) series from ON Semiconductor. This series is designed for a variety of power conversion applications including AC-DC, DC-DC, and DC-AC converters. The RS1J part has a wide input range of up to 8A rated current and an operating temperature range of -40 to +125°C. It is a highly integrated package with a switching controller, integrated power MOSFETs, and rectifier diodes all in one neat package. The package provides an integrated synchronous rectified Full Bridge + V BUS configuration. In addition, it supports soft-switch and programmable over-current protection (OCP), over-voltage protection (OVP) and thermal shutdown (TSD) features. The RS1J can also be configured in different voltage ratios, allowing solutions up to 85V input to 60V output. Lastly, the RS1J is compliant with both FCC and EMC standards.
