OSG5DAA131A-CRLED16 is a 16-chip LED module from OptoSupply. It has an identical footprint and connectors as its predecessor, the OSG5DAA131A-CRLED4, however, it includes four times the number of LEDs for improved lighting performance. It offers a wide angle viewing area and high level of optical performance, and is suitable for a range of applications, from general illumination and accent lighting, to backlighting and signage lighting. The module offers 16 Cree mid-power 0.5 watt cool white LEDs mounted on a small FR4 PCB. The emitters have an excellent color rendering index of 70, with a color temperature of 5,000K. The package is small and light weight, measuring just 40mm x 40mm and weighing in at just 5.5g. It can operate in a wide voltage range of 12-24V DC.
