The Optosupply OSPW7161D-L is an LED driver IC designed for use in LED backlight applications. This component is designed to increase the efficiency and simplify the design of LED-backlit displays, such as LCD TVs. It features a single power supply design with over current protection, a built-in soft start function, and short circuit protection. Additionally, it features a supply voltage range from 3.2V to 18V and a 9-bit resolution (256 steps) for brightness control.
