Optotronic control gear The BPW 34 FASR is a controller module made by Osram Optotronic. This module is designed to control the dimming of fluorescent lighting fixtures. It is a 1-10V dimming system that works with compatible dimmable lamps and ballasts. The module allows for fast response time because of its integrated electronic soft starter technology, thus reducing the flicker caused by traditional dimming systems. The module is also equipped with a built-in phase cut dimming output to allow for phase-cut operation of dimmable lamps, as well as a separate phase-cut or 0-10V output for controlling non-dimmable (ND) lamps. The BPW 34 FASR is compatible with multiple types of control systems such as DALI, Touch-DIM, 1-10V and potentiometer. It has a wide range of dimming ratios and is suitable for applications with high ambient temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius.
