The Panasonic FD-E13 is a fibre-optic sensor with a 0÷12mm range and a diffuse-reflective operating mode. It is used to detect changes in the surface of an object, such as the presence of a target or object, via the reflection of a light beam. The sensor features a broad, adjustable sensing range and is capable of high-accuracy detection for more reliable operation. It also features a low power consumption and output polarity that is selectable, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
