Additional Infomation About Product

The STP28X5MBU with Ethernet Cables / Networking Cables CAT6A 28AWG Shielded Patch Cord, CM/LSZ manufactured by Panduit is an unshielded twisted pair cable designed for signaling and communication in networking applications. It is capable of supporting transmission speeds up to 10 Gb/s and is backwards compatible with existing infrastructure. The cable is constructed from four pairs of twisted electric wires surrounded by an outer jacket to reduce crosstalk and other interference. The shielding is made from aluminum foil to further reduce potential EMI (electromagnetic interference). The 28AWG conductor size is designed for high-speed transmission and offers improved performance compared to thicker cables with a lower conductor size. The CAT6A cable is rated for a frequency up to 500 MHz, making it suitable for Ethernet applications, as well as other data and media transmission lines. It also features a kink-resistant PVC jacket and a pre-terminated molded boot.
