The PPSI262 is a specialized sensors SMD (Surface Mount Device) manufactured by Partron that measures 7.0mm x 3.0mm x 1.35mm and is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant. It is designed for applications such as low power measurement, relative humidity measurement, PIR motion detection, and other similar applications. The PPSI262 is a low power part that can operate from a 3V supply and features an ultra-low power enable / disable and a single-ended output. The output of this sensor is a voltage signal that is proportional to the sensed variable (e.g. humidity or motion). The PPSI262 is ideal for ultra-low power applications such as energy harvesting that require multiple sensors and minimal power consumption. It can also be used in combination with other Partron products for more advanced sensing applications.
