8418 The PCE8418 is a single-chip high-performance programmable single-chip low-power audio processor designed for audio applications. The 90EKO005 is an evaluation board for the PCE8418 which features integrated voltage regulation for the microcontroller, a port for external input, and a port for audio output. The board has a low-power design with an operating temperature range from 0 to 70C. It is capable of playing stereo audio files in either mono or stereo format, and includes on-board digital signal processing (including a digital equalizer) and digital volume control. The board also provides interface support for external audio sources (such as headsets, microphones, and speakers), and can be used to create a variety of custom audio effects.
