CQL-734 is a Polam-Elta protocol designed specifically for industrial temperature control. It is primarily used to control heating and cooling devices, by providing a bidirectional communication between a master controller and one or more remote devices. It utilizes a form of asynchronous serial communication and features a multi-master/multi-slave architecture. The protocol is suited to applications with large numbers of I/O points, and its low cost and easy programing make it well suited to OEM applications.
