Additional Infomation About Product

AltIMU-10 v5 The Pololu AltIMU-10 v5 is a high-quality inertial measurement unit (IMU) that features three axes of accelerometer and gyroscope data, along with an onboard digital motion processor (DMP) that can directly output data in quaternion or Euler angles. The unit also includes a 3-axis magnetometer, barometric pressure sensor, and a digital temperature sensor. All of these components are integrated into a single, light-weight surface-mount package. The board also features several expansion options, including an I2C port and a devoted FIFO interface. The digital motion processor (DMP) core allows the AltIMU-10 v5 to automatically combine and fuse the data from all the sensors to produce correct and reliable attitude information even when the board is subject to fast and powerful accelerations. The DMP can also perform calibrations of the sensors for temperature, bias and linearity during initialization, thus allowing for low calibration needs in future applications with the AltIMU-10 v5.
