Additional Infomation About Product

The ACS724 Current Sensor Carrier -20A to +2 is a high precision current sensing device manufactured by Pololu. It is based on the Allegro ACS724 hall effect current sensor IC, which has an integrated current output of up to 20.3A. The carrier board features an on-board voltage regulator so it can operate from a 4.5V to 5.5V power supply, making it ideal for use in battery operated applications. With a 16 pin, dual-in-line package measuring 20.3mm x 17.8mm, the device is very compact and easily mountable. The output of the carrier board is a voltage output proportional to the sensed current, and can be used to measure loads ranging from -20A to +20A. This makes it ideal for applications such as monitoring motor current, battery drain, and solar panel power.
