Additional Infomation About Product

The Pololu DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver Carrier is a breakout board for TI’s DRV8825 microstepping bipolar stepper motor driver. It operates from 8.2 to 45 V and can deliver up to approximately 2.2 A per phase. The DRV8825 incorporates a decoding IC that allows for microstepping up to 1/32-step resolution and it also has built-in protective features such as thermal shutdown, overcurrent, and short-to- ground protection. The onboard 3-pin socket allows for convenient motor connection, and the two onboard 0.1" sockets allow for direct connection of two I/O lines from a microcontroller or other device. The DRV8825 is rated to operate at up to 2.2 A per phase and can deliver up to 1/32-step resolution when using a microstepping resolution setting. Additionally, the DRV8825 contains adjustable current regulation and built-in protection features to ensure a reliable operation.
