Sensor The Pololu MQ-2 Flame and Combustible Gas Sensor is part of the Pololu family of sensor modules. This particular sensor is designed to detect gases such as Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), Coal Gas, and Propane. It has a high sensitivity with quick response time and can detect combustible gas and smoke between 100 to 10,000 ppm. The output can be read using an analog or digital output. The small size of the sensor module allows it to easily fit into tight spaces. The MQ-2 also has a long life span and is temperature compensated for both accuracy and stability over a wide range of temperatures.
