The Pololu Magnetic Encoder Disc for 20D Gearmotors with Sensors is a combination of a magnet and a sensor adapter designed to make your motor projects easier. It consists of a 1-piece magnet disk that is specially designed to fit Pololu #3274 RPM- and encoder-based 20D gearmotors. The magnet is push-in and has 12 imp/ revolution, which allows for accurate speed detection and even counting of revolutions. The sensor adapter connects to the available motor port and provides two tabs that can be connected to an external sensor. This encoder disc will help you accurately measure speed over multiple revolutions and is ideal for controlling your motor projects.
