The Pololu QTRX-MD-16A Reflectance Sensor Array is an electronic component with 16 individual reflective distance sensors powered by a single 2.9 to 5.5V analog output. It is designed to detect the presence of an object, the reflectivity of a surface, and the distance of an object from the sensor array in a variety of applications. The reflective distance sensors have a 10 mm wide reflective area and can detect objects up to 0.25 mm away. The sensors output an analog signal that can be read by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The QTRX-MD-16A has 12.5 KO pull-up resistors per channel that can be enabled by a jumper if necessary.
