College
Pomona College is a private liberal arts college in Claremont, California. Founded in 1887, the college is located on a suburban, 128-acre campus in a residential area of Claremont. The campus includes the following:
• Forty-nine buildings, including seven residence halls, a library, religious and cultural centers, a gymnasium, a performing arts center, a fitness center, and more than 30 academic buildings.
• Numerous playing fields and outdoor recreational spaces, such as Frary Park, an arboretum and an equestrian center.
• A variety of landscaped gardens, open spaces and historic structures.
• Five museums, including the Harper Landau Children’s Center and the Pomona College Art Gallery.
• An intramural and club sports program, featuring eighteen different sports.
• An active student life featuring clubs, organizations, and cultural and religious organizations.
