TOP250YN with AC/DC Converters 210 W 85-265 VAC 290 W 230 VAC is a high performance offline switched-mode power supply (SMPS) IC, manufactured by Power Integrations. The heart of this IC is the high voltage integrated MOSFET, and the whole circuit integrates a RCD clamp, line feed circuit, current-limiting function, thermal shutdown protection, overvoltage protection, and cycle-by-cycle current limiting as well as a very low standby power consumption. The TOP250YN device has an integrated voltage regulator, a power factor correction (PFC) controller and an adjustable primary side maximum power control (MPCC) current limiter. The parts are designed to meet the international requirements of IEC 60950-1 safety standard and dedicated to construct switch mode power supplies from 85-265 VAC AC inputs. This integrated offline SMPS is suitable for applications with 230 V AC inputs up to 290 W output power.
