The TOP252MG is a high performance, easy to use, integrated switch mode power supply (SMPS) IC, developed by Power Integrations. It is designed to provide high efficiency, low starting current and low EMI/RFI noise. The TOP252MG is suitable for a wide range of mains input applications, including AC/DC power supplies with 0 to 6A output power levels. It features an improved Zeta power stage architecture and patented features. The IC is protected from short circuit, over-temperature, and over-voltage conditions, and has full secondary-side control and protection for both PFC and Off-Line Mode operations. It also features a built-in reset output for PFC startup. This device is compliant with EN55022/CISPR22 issuing Class B electromagnetic emission limits.
