Additional Infomation About Product

The TOP259LN is a 125-watt power supply device manufactured by Power Integrations. It is designed to convert 85–264V AC to a standard output of 12V DC. The TOP259LN is an offline switcher regulator IC with a wide input voltage range and low power losses. It is an economical and rapid time-to-market design solution for a variety of AC/DC converters. This highly integrated TOPswitch-GX family device has an integrated 750V MOSFET, operating frequency range from 47 kHz to 227 kHz, peak current mode control with optimised loop compensation for peak current mode control, and an integrated skip mode feature for reduced acoustic noise. The TOP259LN is packaged in an enhanced SO-8 package and is provided in a pinout that conserves printed-circuit-board (PCB) area. It supports a wide range of voltages, from 85 V AC or 90 V DC to 264 V AC or 290 V DC, with a maximum efficiency of 91%. The TOP259LN can deliver up to 120 watts at 85–264 V AC, and up to 162 watts at 230 V AC.
