The P6SMBFJ15A with SMBF ESD Protection Devices ROHS manufactured by Prisemi is a miniature, surface mount, transient voltage suppression (TVS) device which protects sensitive electronic devices from electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage. It has an ultra-low capacitance which provides protection from ESD events up to 15kV, protecting signal lines against capacitively coupled ESD or electrical fast transients (EFT) that can damage or destroy sensitive electronic components. The device is RoHS compliant and is designed to minimize the degradation of signal quality typically associated with TVS devices. It is encapsulated in a lead-free and halogen-free, flame-retardant Epoxy Resin package for improved robustness and reliability.
