Additional Infomation About Product

The 54098 Optic fiber pigtail manufactured by QOLTEC is an LC/UPC connector with a length of 3 meters. It has a low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) sheath and is compatible with a 9/125um single-mode optical fiber. The LC/UPC structure contains four metal contacts forming a snap-in connection providing excellent performance. This connector offers reliable transmission for both multimode and single-mode cables and is ideal for applications like Ethernet, SONET, CATV, and FTTH (fiber-to-the-home). It is suitable for all standard optical fiber cables, including PVC, Plenum and LSZH jackets. The 54098 is suitable for passive optical applications where physical contact with the fiber is needed and provides increased performance compared to conventional LP (no metal contact) connectors.
