TQM879028 0.6-4 GHz 1/2 W Digital Variable Gain Amplifier Product Overview The TQM879028 is a digital variable gain amplifier (DVGA) featuring high linearity over the entire gain control range. This amplifier module integrates a gain block, a digital-step attenuator (DSA), and a high linearity Watt amplifier into a compact 4x4 mm module. The internal 6-bit DSA provides a 31.5dB gain control range in 0.5dB steps, and TM is controlled with a serial periphery interface (SPI ). The 24 Pin 4x4 mm leadless SMT Package individual stages are accessible to external ports to allow for optimization of the last stage amplifier for use in any 3GPP telecom band and also allowing other functional blocks to be added in-between the stages. Key Features The TQM879028 features variable gain from 0.5dB to 600-4000 MHz 32dB at 2.14 GHz, +44dBm output IP3, and +27.5dBm 32 dB Maximum Gain at 2140 MHz P1dB while only consuming 230mA current from a 5V 31.5 dB Gain Range in 0.5 dB Steps supply.
