It is a three-axis digital magnetometer that features built-in bias compensation and temperature compensation to improve accuracy. It has an LGA-8 package, which measures 1.2 x 1.2 x 0.53 inches, and is RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant. It is designed to detect local field environments with enhanced sensitivity and the ability for gyro and compass navigation. The QMC6310U provides a high accuracy current output, and can detect changes as small as 0.5µT. It is ideal for applications such as robotics, automotive navigation, and other motion control systems.
