This is a type of resistive membrane potentiometer, or rheostat. It is designed to provide varying resistance against slight changes in pressure, temperature or humidity. The rheostat has five independent resistive elements arranged in a quadrantic array. Each element has a nominal resistance value of 10Kohm, and a single terminal connection. The device is generally used as a potential divider, speed control, or position sensor.
