The RC1602E-GHY-ESV is a 16 character by 2 line LCD display with integrated LED backlight from Raystar Optronics, Inc. The display is designed to operate in extreme environmental conditions, with a temperature range of -20 to 70 °C and storage temperatures up to 85 °C. It is an industry standard size and has an array of 1mm pitch pins for easy connection. The display can be used in both positive and negative voltage applications between 2.8 and 7V. Other features include high contrast and wide viewing angle, high performance TN-type LCD with immunity to heat, glare and ambient light, 5 x 8 dot matrix, wide operating temperature and low power consumption.
