The TJ-158W is a tactical Jamming unit used by the United States Air Force (USAF). It is a mobile, high-power, frequency-agile system that provides communications and threats jamming capability to warfighters in the field. It is a part of the USAAF’s “C-jammers” family of jamming systems, which includes four different models, the TJ-155W, TJ-156W, TJ-157W and the TJ-158W. The TJ-158W is the most powerful of these systems and is designed to provide jamming cover over as wide an area as possible. It is capable of jamming against all frequency bands, including cellular and satellite communications. Additionally, it is also capable of jamming against radar, radio navigation and data link signals. The TJ-158W has a maximum power output of 10,000 Watts.
