PAXCDS10 is a software package from Red Lion designed to aid in communication between multiple control system devices. It allows users to configure and manage complex network communications between devices, both in multiple-level systems and in isolated, siloed networks. It supports devices like programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), intelligent instrumentation monitoring systems (IIMSs), and even contact I/O networks built around the popular Profinet protocol. PAXCDS10 makes it easier to establish communication and synchronization between devices, with features like protocol mapping, protocol tuning, response time tracking, and more.
