RX MCU
Renesas RX MCU's ICS512MLF, or Integrated Circuit for Sound Synthesis, is a 32-bit sound generation core that offers hardware sound synthesis in a single-package solution. It is particularly suited for sound generation in Renesas' RX microcontrollers. The features included in this IC include MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) Channels, an 8-bit FM2 synthesis engine, 12-bit PW2 synthesis engine, 12-bit ADSR envelope control, three-level channel priority, and two stereo mixing buses for sample synthesis operations. The rich Palette of sound effects available on ICS512MLF also includes drums, cymbals, pianos, strings, brass, wind, and various sound effects. The ICS512MLF also offers powerful programming capabilities, thanks to its built-in sound filters and table generators.
