The Richtek RT8288AZSP is an 8-pin, adjustable synchronous buck switching regulator with integrated 4A power MOSFETs. It can generate an output voltage at up to 8V from a input voltage of 6 to 35V. The device operates in Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM), which allows it to maintain a low output ripple voltage. The output voltage is adjustable over a wide range using an external control voltage, with a minimum output voltage as low as 0.6V. It also has adjustable switching frequency with a nominal Oscillator Frequency of 100KHz, and an adjustable soft start time which provides fast start up and a smooth turn-on of the power supply. Additionally, the RT8288AZSP features cycle-by-cycle current limit, thermal shutdown and over voltage protection.
