This IC Output Current: 1A has a built-in over-current protection circuit that prevents Output voltage Precision(Ta=25): 1% the destruction of the IC due to output short circuit and a (-40Ta+105): 3% thermal shutdown circuit that protects the IC from Operating temperature range: -40Ta+105 thermal damage due to overloading.
