Roztocze is a region located in south-eastern Poland, encompassing majorly Lublin Voivodeship, although smaller parts are also located in Podkarpackie, Swietokrzyskie, and Podlaskie Voivodeships. The 4.444.001-02 part of Roztocze is located in Lublin Voivodeship, and is home to several small towns, villages and settlements. It is populated mainly by the Polish population, with small Ukrainian and Jewish populations also present. The area has a rich variety of flora and fauna, and is home to numerous natural and man-made attractions. It is popular with tourists throughout the year due to its diverse range of outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking and canoeing in the Szum River, as well as its historical buildings, museums and parks.
