RC816 Ruikong

The RC816 RF Transceiver IC with SSOP-16 RoHS is a low-cost, low-power transmitter and receiver combination IC manufactured by Ruikong. It integrates the functions of an orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) baseband, a direct-conversion transceiver, and a frequency synthesizer. The built-in transducer with direct-conversion architecture offers wideband frequency agility utilizing a fractional-N synthesizer. The RC816 IC supports 802.11a/b/g/j/n standards and has low-IF architecture for transmitting and receiving signals in the 2.400 GHz to 2.500 GHz frequency range. Its high level of integration reduces the need for external components and provides excellent performance. It utilizes advanced digital and analog signal processing to optimize receiver sensitivity and power consumption while achieving exceptional selectivity and blocking performance. The RC816 offers a maximum output power of 17dbm and a receiver sensitivity of -89dBm (10% PER). The low power consumption (11.9mA @17dbm, 15.2mA@1Mb/s) makes the IC suitable for battery powered applications. The IC comes with an integrated 16-Pin SSOP package, RoHS compliant for compatibility with lead-free operations.
