Galaxy
The KSP44 (Korea Smartphone Platform 44) is a mobile platform developed by Samsung to power its range of smartphones. It is based on the Android open source operating system and a custom Linux-based processor referred to as the Exynos 8890. The KSP44 is the successor to the Exynos 7420 found in older Samsung devices, such as the Galaxy S6, and offers improved performance and energy efficiency. It includes a custom GPU, dual-core Cortex A72 CPU, hexa-core Cortex-53 CPU, and 4GB of RAM. It also supports faster data transfer speeds via 4G LTE and MIMO Wi-Fi connections. The KSP44 platform can be found in the Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, and Galaxy S8 models.
