The AZM 161SK-12/12RKTU-024 Safety Switch with Series AZM 161 by Schmersal is a bolting safety switch with contacts consisting of 4 normally closed and 2 normally open. It is a dual channel switch with 2 sets of contacts to monitor the status of the gate or guard. The switch is designed to be used either as a safety connection to monitor the correct functioning of a protective gate/guard or as an emergency stop. The switch is operated manually: it can be operated from both sides of the gate/guard and features two separate, self-locking and independent latching mechanisms that ensure reliable operation and safe interlocking. The switch is made of shock-resistant plastic and is oil, water and dust proof. It is suitable for use in most environments and is certified according to EN 1088.1-2003/A2-2008.
